WADE Journal, the West African Design Expo, was founded on a simple conviction: that West Africa produces world-class creative talent that deserves a world-class platform.

We exist to document, celebrate, and amplify the work of artists, architects, and designers across the ECOWAS region. Through long-form editorial, open competitions, and a curated talent directory, we connect West African creativity with a global audience.

We reinvest all proceeds into prize funds, publication, and community outreach, prioritising schools, emerging graduates, and independent practitioners who lack access to conventional platforms.
